![]() ![]() They are so sensitive that my dog nose booped the buttons yesterday and it turned the pages. ![]() They are responsive each time I click and the screen has not frozen at all yet. It's not the ereaders fault that I was soiled by 8 inches instead of 7 for a while (insert dirty joke here about size not being everything). The screen being 7 inch instead of 8 inches does make a big difference but I will get used to it in time. I like how light it is after the Sage+Power Cover combo. So far the battery is draining at around 2% per hour of reading. I don't know if I just had a defective product or what? What do you guys think? After 4 times in 1 week of this, I gave up on this ereader completely and returned it. I could screen tap for the life of me and no response at all. Only the SCREEN STOPPED RESPONDING AS WELL! Good lord, does this device not have a faster processer? What is the point if I had to restart the device to get it to work? I couldn't flip the pages, couldn't get a menu to pop up to be able to pop out of the book and back in. I could have screen tapped for the rest of my life and not cared. Once again, I could have dealt with this. At other times, to turn the pages I had to push the button 2 or 3 times - sometimes up to 5 times- to get it to flip. You have asked too much of me" I had to use the screen tap to flip the pages instead. "No way in heck will I do this for you, OP. ![]() This means I need to flip the page about a minute after the last flip. In the book I'm currently reading, the customization of the ereader text means that there are times when I have a page with one or two sentences on it. That means there are a LOT of page flips while I'm reading. ![]() I deep cycled the battery (without the power cover) 5 times, did a few factory resets, all the updates etc etc and the battery life evened out at 10% loss per hour from 20% when I first got it. I don't travel often and it's no big deal to plus the thing into the wall once in a while to charge. I could have dealt with this, I really could. With the power cover, I got approximately 26 hours of reading time in one charge. The battery died at about 10% per hour at 5% brightness. Reading customization is MUCH better than other brand ereaderīuttons were NOT responsive (more on this below)Įreader itself unresponsive (this was the breaking point) Here are my thoughts on the devices (so far) I have bought the Kobo Libra 2 and been using it for a week. I returned it after trying it out for 3 weeks. Welcome to the new and improved Kobo Reddit Rules I’d also echo a lot of what others have mentioned that you can use third-party styluses for other options.Anything and everything about the Kobo eReader. New pen seems eh? I do like how it’s of longer length now. It hooks on one side and appears to have a noticeable “ledge” and I’m wondering if it doesn’t allow the unit to sit flat on a desk. One thing that I’m curious about is how the sleepcover affects of the device can sit flat. Badereader should know the slide vertically on the side of the screen shortcut works in notebooks to change brightness. Nice to see the light options also show up in the notebook. I find things to be an OK speed on my Elipsa 1 unit. It’s not a huge leap but IMHO doesn’t need to be. Small improvement in pageturns and general loading here and there in the UI. Despite trying to use the advanced notebook, I always have to create a basic one because of this. I know some folks in this board say it works fine, but it’s borderline unusable due to latency, especially as the notebook fills up. I saw noticeable improvement in the advanced notebook latency for the 2e unit.
